Vibe Coding is Great. Until...

Vibe coding is great.

Right up until it starts vibe-maintaining your Salesforce org.

I understand the appeal, I do! You spot a gap, describe the workflow, something appears and everyone is impressed. A tiny productivity angel gets its wings...

Then six months later, someone asks: “Why does this automation update the Opportunity, the Account, and a custom object named Revenue_Thing_v2 ?”

No one knows.

AI can help teams move faster. But it can also make it much easier to turn undocumented process into production logic. And Salesforce has a long memory.

Every “quick” field, Flow, integration, and bypass rule becomes part of the operating model eventually.

Now, I'm not suggesting to not use AI, but don’t trust it blindly and automate a process you cannot explain without opening three tabs and calling the person who built it.

AI can be really useful and help reduce work, but it shouldn't create future archaeology projects.
