Help Me

I’ve officially become the LinkedIn poster that I make fun of..

Because why did something that happened at puppy training school 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 made me think of RevOps and their role in an organization...?

“If you don't train them, you can’t blame them” – a common refrain that I hear taking my family’s new puppy to obedience classes.

And one I realized mid-class, aligns exactly with how successful a RevOps function can be.

Because RevOps success depends on strong communication and exposure to the leadership team, such as the VP of Sales or CFO, to properly align their work with the organization's strategy.

If they aren’t given the opportunity to see and hear and influence the bigger picture, they can’t be blamed for the role amounting to “report fixers” or CRM admins.

Just like you can’t blame a new puppy for peeing in the house before they’ve been potty-trained... (can't complain there, she's doing amazing! 🐶 )

So I guess I’m now that guy that makes these kinds of connections.
