Since a few of my own clients had no idea this was coming, I figured I’d share my journey to discovering a pretty critical new Salesforce security update that changes how high‑privileged users can log in.

I’m absolutely on board with tightening security for admins on such a critical platform, so I jumped on it quickly.

I was just surprised that a change with this much impact showed up as a relatively quiet banner instead of something a bit more in-your-face.
